Smile

Dog’s smiles are characterised by:

  • lips that are pulled far back, but are relaxed;
  • a part-open mouth;
  • mischievous eyes; and
  • can sometimes involve a display of teeth but you can tell the difference with a threat from the dog’s generally relaxed demeanour.

I am lucky enough to own a part fox terrier, and fox terriers are the KINGS of smilers!
